Consequences for a noncomformist

There are good things and bad things to being your own person. The good things are being who u is and seeing you achieve the ultimate goal. Also a person may never know who they are but you broke through that barrier. On the flip side there are many consequences to the action you take by being who you are. Like many great speakers they were conformist such as Martin Luther King. He was his own person and spoke against segrartion and he ended up in jail. He also had many people who disliked him and abused his property. Another person in history who spoke up for themselves was Rosa Parks. She wanted her own seat because she felt that she shouldn’t get up for anyone and was put in jail for it.
A person who started this conformist movement was Theroue. He was his own person and stuck to the things he thought was right. He was made fun of by his family and friends. Also he was mocked by others.  Being your own person t times can put anyone at risk at getting their feelings hurt. It may also destroy a person not just physically but mentally as well. Most people in the world aren’t prepared to be themselves so they mock others at their success.

Walden Pond

Thoreau didn’t waste his time at Walden’s Pond. He didn’t waste time because he wanted to find himself. Thoreau went for spiritual and self-enlightenment. Thoreau took time out his life to find out who he is and why he is this way. Thoreau also wanted to find the answers to life.
Thoreau was honest with himself. Meaning that he knew what he was going to be in for. He also knew that his journey from regular man. To being transformed into a man that hears nature or understands the way of the world. Thoreau ignored what the people said about him he chased what he believed in. He stood his ground spoke from his gut so the people may understand his mind.
Thoreau blew away the minds of average people. By his metaphors and personal insight he showed in his writings. No other person during his age saw the earth as alive. They saw it as room to improve or build up a foundation. Thoreau at Walden Pond proved that everyone or everything has a reason to be alive. He proved that they all give something so that the world my live. In the 2years he was in his cabin Thoreau saw a gift that no one my ever see again.
Thoreau has shown the world how to approach their lives. He also has shown the world that are earth is a home. Thoreau is a man ahead of is time because he saw the world without life. Still tot his day he worlds to prevent it from happing.

Group Work

The rights of students at Grosse Pointe South High School have been neglected for years.  Teachers have abused them for too long, and they will have no more.  Students at the new Grosse Pointe South High School have entitled themselves to new rights.  Students agree that they should have the right to protest at school.  Insubordination should never be a right to a student’s right to assemble. Teachers at Grosse Pointe South have protested at school, so why can’t the kids.  These students also believe that they should be allowed to advertise their argument without teachers consent.  All advertisements would be left up throughout the school as long as they weren’t inappropriate.  Also Grosse Pointe South rules state the parents must call their child in for an absence.  Unless the student is over 18 years old, then they are not allowed to call themselves in for an excused absence.  Students here deem otherwise because students are solely responsible for their own education.  If students do not want to utilize the advantages of having a good education then that is subsequently their own fault.  Here Grosse Pointe South students also believe that there should be monthly evaluations on teachers and substitute teachers each month.  The students would be able to submit an online survey by signing in with their student identification number.  The survey would be about rating their teachers based on three questions relating to the teachers performance, and would also ask one to rate the substitute teachers they had in the past month.  Those three questions would be; How would you rate your teachers attitude towards learning?; How would your teachers ability to make sure you understood material?; How did you do on your grades in this teachers class for the past month?  Each question would be answered in a rate 1-5 scenario.  For those teachers who had an unacceptable score for the first time would be put on probation, for those teachers who had an unacceptable score two times would have to go in front of the school board to be reevaluated, and those teachers who failed for a third time would be suspended without pay for a month.  These evaluations that students would take would help eliminate teachers who don’t do their job to the fullest.  These are the new rights that the students of Grosse Pointe South have created for themselves.
Complaints to the Crown:
I. No Homework
Students are tired of homework.  They don’t want any more work outside of school.  The students spend seven hours a day at school doing work.  They don’t want to be sent home with more work to do.  Students spend around three hours of homework a night.  On a regular day of homework a students spends about ten hours on work.  If they spend that much time in school they shouldn’t receive homework.

II. Teachers shouldn’t make the rules
Teachers and staff should not make the rules for the students.  The students are the ones attending school, so they should be making the rules.  The kids should be able to pick them and agree with teachers for the rules.  It is not fair for the teachers to except the student to do everything they want.  They already have to sit in the teacher’s class, do their work that is assigned, listen to the rules for of the classroom, and follow the dress code.  They have enough to listen to.

III. Every Teacher Should Accept Late Work
Every student should be able to turn in late work. This should be possible because a kid may have a lot to do. A kid may have to do sports a club that prevents them from their work. It is unfair to a child not to earn points for things they can’t change.  There may have been a great loss in the child’s family that may have occurred. A teacher never knows what happens in a child’s life. Not without commutation.
IV. No Midterms or Finals
Almost everyone in the student body believes that having a midterm and a final is a waste of time.  They think this because they have to cram everything in at the last second in order to study.  There should be no midterm or final because the grade that they get should not be affected by a final test.  Without these final tests there would also be an extra week of school which means that there would be longer breaks.  With longer breaks then that means a happier student body and staff.

V. More Passing Time
Many students show up to class late each day. They are punished in numerous different ways by their teachers for their tardiness. With little time in the rest of the day, students spend most of their passing time socializing with friends. When the students show up to class late they cause a distraction to their peers and teachers. If more passing time were given the students would be less likely to show up to class late and cause a distraction to their peers when they finally show up. Students have the right to more passing time in between classes.

VI. Teacher Evaluations
Unproductive and inappropriate teachers or substitutes can cause problems for the students in their classes. Many teachers don’t witness to inappropriateness of these particular educators. The only witnesses to these sides of these teachers are the students. Without an evaluation done by the students, the unproductive educators will continue to be hired. Students have the right to evaluate teachers and substitutes.
VII. No calls home for unexcused absences
Phone calls shouldn’t be made for skipping school.  A student’s education depends on not having unexcused absences. The student that is skipping may understand the lesson that is being taught. Also the child maybe receiving an excellent grade in the class that he/she is skipping. So instead of hurting that student’s education, sitting him/her down and having a discussion would be more effective. The school may have to switch the student out of the regular class and put him/her in a more advance class room, so they are being challenged.
VIII. No Cameras in Hallways
There should not be any cameras in the hallways at Grosse Pointe South.  Hallways are the only private place for students at school and need to be kept that way.  Having cameras in the hallways violates each student’s right to privacy.  Also, teachers do not have cameras in their classrooms, so students shouldn’t have cameras in their hallways.  It violates student’s privacy and if they are unwanted by the majority of students, then there is no use for them.
IX. Paying at School Home Games
Students should not have to pay to come to their own schools home games.  It should be free for students to come and support their friends.  Also paying at home games discourages attendance.  Sports Casters often talk about how important the home crowd is during a big game.  This is why having a big crowd to support Grosse Pointe South sports teams is so critical.  So without many screaming fans our teams might not play as well.
X. Cell Phones
In this school most teachers do not allow the usage of cell phones.  Besides on tests cell phones should be allowed in classrooms.  With the new technology of cell phones they could help the class in many different situations.  An example of this is that if no one knows the answer to a question in a class discussion they could look it up on their phone.  Although there is a possibility students could use phones for the wrong reason, if the students were given the right to use them then they would not use then this will have a positive effect on the student making them likely that they will put their cell phone to good use.

The students have been violated their rights for far too long. The students’ rights at school are limited to an extent as mere as possible. Faculty members have been controlling the rules of the school. The students are the ones following the rules, so the staff and students should agree upon the rules at school. They have been paying at football games even though they go to the school. They have not been allowed to use cell phones in class when they could be proven useful at some points in class. The students are constantly under surveillance, being watched in the hallways with cameras everywhere. The teachers aren’t being watched in class so the students shouldn’t be watched in the halls. Students and teachers cram twice each year in order to study for finals and mid terms. These yearly tests are inconvenient for both the teachers and students. Calling a parent or guardian when their son or daughter has skipped school is a waste of time. Students skip school for different reasons and the parent can notice on their own. Late work should be accepted by all teachers and the student shouldn’t have to be punished for their lack of time or personal issues. Students go to school 7 hours each day and then go home with 2 hours worth of homework. School already takes up most of a student’s day so sending them home with more work is pointless when they could do it in the 7 hours they are in school. The world is evolving and with it so are people. The school system is changing but its rules aren’t. The rules should be developing as its students are. The students have begun learning of the rights that they have outside of school, but they also apply in school also. With this in mind the student’s ideas should be taken into account and applied to the schools rules.

Life after Left

After Abby left Marry Warren had no one to turn to she was left alone. She felt as if the world was cold heartless. She felt like it she didn’t belong with Elizabeth because of her new husband. Even when they were alone for four years she felt as if Elizabeth blamed her for John’s death. Not in words but in Elizabeth’s actions. So early into the morning Marry left out to search for Abby in order to find herself. Marry knew not where to start nor where to end her search. For the first time in her short life marry final took charge for what she wanted.
Marry Warren traveled days in and out without stopping to the state Rhode Island. She took rides from strangers that were going her way. One the road she ate and also drank with her traveling partners. When she got to her destination one thing only occurred to her, her stomach.  Marry asked herself what am I suppose to do about water, shelter, and most important food. Just as she was giving up hope she overheard a conversation of two men. They were discussing about a very rich woman whom needed a maid to care for her home. Marry was in luck because she knew she would be able to eat and be taken care of for the time being. So Marry set out to gain her new job so she may resume her old habits.
When Marry arrived at his mansion that she was suppose to be working she was stunned by how big it was. She rode to the gates and watched them open in front of her eyes. Her finger was just in over the door just when the doors opened. There stood a man long black hair chiseled features. Her mind raced as her heart paced at his speech she sensed love in the air. She also knew that there could be noting between them. He looked down upon her and said happily “O you must be coming her to Replace are old maid”. Marry replied very quietly “yes”.
The man let her in politely and introduced himself he said “My name is John Peirce but u may call me John. My mother has just passed away and I have this home to myself but no wife. No children to share neither the house nor a maid to clean. So as I can see you would be a perfect fit would you my job offer.” Marry stepped back in amazement at how he could trust her so fast and barley knows anything about her. Unwillingly she stood up proud and replied “Yes John I would love to take up being your maid”.
Months have passed and the will to find Abby had left her simple mind all because she fell in love with John. To her his personality was something no woman should be able to escape. His long flowing hair how it goes over his shoulders his voice maybe how it sounds. How it sends a warm feeling all over her body and makes her feel like the world stops and there the only two still in motion. She would gaze at John as if she was staring into his living, breathing soul. Unknowingly Marry didn’t know that when her, back was turned that John did the same thing and felt the same way.
So on one afternoon John came to Marry as she was working. He said with a hint of fear in his voice “Marry these months that we’ve spent together has made me fall deeper in love with you so may you marry me”? Marry replied with a grin on her face “yes John yes I would love to be with u”. Marry lived the rest of her life with John. She also realized that being a follower gets you no were in life. So she stopped her old habits changed and started her new life.
Marry was stunned surprised at how he felt the same way. So she replied happily “yes John feel the same so I want you to take my hand in marriage.”

crucible essy

In the book Crucible there were many witch trails held. So that means many people were hung and killed on that day. Since this happened there are many people responsible for this. These three people are Abby, Marry Warren, and John Proctor.
John Proctor was responsible because he gave up on himself as a person. John gave up on his views and is love for the world my even his wife. At the end of Act 3 he could have stuck to what his original plan was and that was to save his wife. Also to save the other people in the village. At the end of Act 3 he could have said God is strong with him so he may never leave his side. Instead he said “i am with the devil and can’t wait for the fall of God”. John gave Abby what she wanted full power.
Marry Warren is responsible because she lacks leadership qualities. If Marry was more of a leader the tables would’ve been turned in this story. She could have given away Abby and her plan to get rid of Mrs. Proctor. Marry could’ve told everyone in the village plus the court what they did in the woods. If she said that Abby would’ve been wiped or maybe killed. John would’ve been happy with Mrs. Proctor. Also Marry is the main reason why john was killed. If she would’ve been more heroic she could’ve told the truth and saved many lives.
Abigail is the most responsible for the witch trails because she told many lies to rise to the top of power. She was the reason why the court thought Goody proctor did voodoo. Abigail danced in the woods drunk blood a potion in order to kill Mrs. Proctor. She did all the lies the cheating just she could have one man John. In the end of act 3 she lied in front of the court in order to obtain power and control or her own situation. Abby ran a group of girls  and when she pulled the strings the girls did exactly what there were told r what she did.

Lies post

John lied to minster Hale about witches. He lied so he wouldn’t be hung he also lied so his family won’t be in danger with the village. People lie for many reasons. Some are so they won be in trouble or so they can live their lives in peace. People lying to one another are a very important part in our lives. Without lying the world as we know it wouldn’t be the same.  Most people say they don’t want to be lied until they hear the truth. Some can handle the brutality it brings others fall at its mercy.
Yes I would lie just so I wouldn’t get in trouble or die. As long as I can get away with a lie I will tell it so I can be not in trouble. The time for me to lie has to be reasonable. My first thing to do is not to lie I know I must also tell the truth but if it must depend on my life I will lie. The truth isn’t always the right thing to do. Lies are around everyone are nation is built up on lies. As long as these so called little things bring us close to are goals everyone will be willing to tell them.

Crucibl Post

How power switched in Salem was very drastic. Paris doing doesn’t want to lose his power and he will give up his own flesh and blood before he converts to noting. He is willing to tell himself that witch craft doesn’t exist before saving his daughters life. Abby doesn’t want to be seen as the town hoe because if that is how she’s labeled her love John may not want her. She also holds power in the group that she is in. She threaten Mary to never speak of the night they were dancing or she’ll crush her skull.  Mrs. Proctor has gained power over Abby because at anytime she wants to she can blacken her name. The power in the story over this little town is shifted between many people. Some people like John has power one person that can effect them in a large why. Some other people such as Paris is loosing their power and is willing to lie and kill to keep it. The power once belonged to one person and as the story goes on the power shifts between person to person no matter the age. The sex of the person doesn’t matter either.

Follow up on Sinners Of an Angry God post

People today wouldn’t see the sermon has instructional. They may see it as the devil trying to make their faith not in god. People may be startled by it and may not know what to do. Expectations for School

The expectations for a student are to have outstanding behavior, good work ethic, and attending class on time.
Outstanding behavior is a great aspect to have. Behavior is something tat will take a person far. No one wants to deal with a person who makes them look bad. Not only grades but behavior determines if someone will go far in life. An attitude is something that will get a person kicked out of school, or end up in jail. A good attitude is what will open up more doors for a person then they intended. It will also allow other people to enjoy you being around. They may even be impressed by you and show you to another road that may help you.
You must have good work ethic. You need this because without it you’ll only have close doors in life. An employer won’t have nor take anyone who gives poor work into what their doing. Also fantastic work will get you into a good collage. Also bring you to see that you as a goo worker. They my also help you out with the things you may need in life. If people around anyone see how much they work there are endless possibilities to what they will do to help or hire that person.
Attending class is the most important. A person must be on time because if they don’t they wont pass. If someone doesn’t attend class on time the teacher at times wont open the door if their late. An employer won’t like it when someone comes to work late. A boss might fire. Collages might not want someone with them because their always late to class. When a person applies for another job the employer might call your last job and ask them why that person was fired. The employer may just look at your record. So being on time my save you from being unemployed

About me

There are a lot of things to learn or understand about me. Some good others bad but its who I am. I was born in Detroit, MI April 10, 1995. I came from a family that puts school first. Their also loving and caring. They’ll do anything for me. I see life as something that should be taken to the fullest. I see it as something that you have one chance at. So I choose to do the things I need to so I can pass at life.

My hobbies or the things I love to do are rap and poetry. Rapping is my passion it is who I am something that will never go away. Poetry is something that I use as a release my own personal therapy. Meaning all my stress is locked on a piece of paper. My music choice is hip-hop because they say things that I can personally relate to. In my opinion certain hip-hop artist can bring something new in everyone’s lives. I say this because their music can open your eyes to things you never could see alone.

The sport I use to play was football. I played it when I was 13. I’ve also tried tennis, but to my surprise I wasn’t any good at it. One thing everyone knows about me is that I love shoes. My favorite shoes are Nikes. I don’t like any other shoe because Nikes are the best to me. I don’t own any Jordan’s because they don’t look right to me. Now you know everything there is to know about me.
